Her mother was pregnant when she was burned for being a witch. The next day people heard loud crying coming from the place of execution and found Daeva. Being the descendant of the witch, the townsfolk called her Daeva, meaning Evil Spirit

Daeva tries to rid herself of her mother's legacy and helps people wherever she can. Her flames are pieces of her mother's soul, who was a healer and she uses the essence of these flames to heal the wounded
