Junepei

Born to an unknown parent, Junepei was left at the step of the Explorer's guild as an egg; after looking for their parent, it was determined that someone else would have to take the eg. Unequipped for this sort of situation, the Explorere's Guild passed the egg over to the Rescuers, who were happy to happy enough to raise the egg. The egg hatched a Solosis, a happy little thing that many members of the guild pitched into help raise. Deemed Junepei, they were raised within a village instead of a home, seeing the entire Rescuer's Guild as family. As they grew they became more energetic, flitting around home base and always looking for something to do; they were known for their want to help out and the other rescuers were always looking for something to give Junepei to do to keep them busy. When they were finally old enough and evolved into a Duosion, Junepei declared they wanted to start adventuring. At first, they started out as muscle for hire, happening as soon as they turned 18. Junepei had a lot of fun, known as reliable if a touch chaotic, but nonetheless a happy spirit to be around on what could otherwise be drab and dull journeys. They even snuck onto a few Explorer's teams, though always found themselves coming back to their home of the Rescuer's guild. They continued this way of life sustained them for a few years, Junepei enjoying meeting new faces and being able to help Pokemon out along the way. However, as Junepei reached the latter half of their 20's, they found themselves unfulfilled. They enjoyed meeting so many people, but found themselves yearning for the companionship a true team would bring--so, they set themselves on their next task, if a bit unsurely: form a rescuer's team, to help out those like they had been helped, to be that warm presence their family-guild always was. However, they didn't know many Pokemon who were both interested in being a Rescuer and not already on a team--so they put out an ad. They got two responses: Lethe, and Sodalite. Junepei greeted the strangers with open arms and was happy to fill out all the paperwork required to register them as a team (they had seen it numerous times and was painfully familiar with it), but when it came to giving themselves a name, they drew a blank--they had suggestions, but nothing they felt fit their little team, much less something they were confident settling on. So one of their new teammates did it for them--Sodalite, suggesting the name 'Caduceus' for reasons Junepei couldn't fully comprehend, but the Duosion was just ecstatic to finally have a team name. Their first few expeditions were as rocky as expected, spent mostly getting to know each other and figuring out their dyanamics--but Junepei was just pleased to be out and exploring with people they quickly considered their friends. Along the way, they finally evolve into a Reuniclus, though whether their happy-go-lucky story about evolving to save Lethe or Soda is true or not (which subject keeps changing) is still left up on the air. One day, the unexpected happens--the illustrious Team Morpheus goes missing. Though Junepei may not be close to the explorers in the way the rest of their guild was, they knew their job was a rescuer, and finding the missing is just part of their everyday work. There wasn't any way they weren't going to lend a hand if they could, and Junepei was more than happy to bring Lethe and Sodalite along.
