Roku is the elder brother of Kou and the younger brother of Satoi. He is currently in a famous 6 member boy group called "CITI", and is the lead vocalist and one of the song writers in the group. His defining characteristics are his eccentric hairstyle and his blunt, serious responses (which is often times a humour point in the group conversations).
He is currently the second oldest member in CITI, physically and is the most mature out of the boys. He is complimented for his stable vocal cords, but also his unique, soft but powerful voice. He normally seems the most distant from each other out of all the members, but in actuality, he holds the entire group dear to his heart. They are probably the only humans that have allowed him to develop empathy with other humans. He loves his fans so much, and often let his fans mess up his hair much to his distress but he shrugs it off.
Apart from blood, Roku is completely obsessed with Boba. it's concerning His favourite Boba drink is of any mango kind, and you'll often see him escape late at night to get some Boba.
His favourite pastimes are reading books (which he derives his inspiration for lyrics from), listening to music and playing table tennis. He's really good at table tennis. Don't play against him, you'll get hurt.
Despite his warmness towards his fans and group members, he's extremely difficult to get close to and will almost never show his true feelings to anyone. Kou often mocks this coldness, comparing it to his hair.
Roku also has the power to erase memories within 2 hours of the event happening. In order to do this, he must have knowledge of the event. no wonder he's able to cover so many screw ups
He's a terrible rapper.
Akaji, the lead rapper, once asked Roku to rap a section while he went and grabbed a snack.
The next moment can only be compared to a broken piano trying to play the violin. Please don't make him rap. We'll all suffer.

History
"I don't want to live here forever..."
Being born second to his older brother, Satoi, Roku was always neglected. His father aimed to raise Satoi to become adequate enough for the Council, in order to take his place once he died. Roku was born as a backup plan, and with his arrogance, his father had complete faith in Satoi's success.
Thus, Roku grew up isolated.
His home was rather large- centuries of saving would intuitively make it large- yet the items there lacked saturation. A grey world.
His favourite pastime was singing. His mother's old cassette tapes held songs of innocence, joy, suffering, love. Listening to them over and over again, and singing along with the melodies allowed him to pass time more freely, and eventually, he decided to write his own lyrics.
His father, quite amused at his child's newfound hobby, decided to gift him a piano.
The songs Roku created in conjunction with his instrument were songs which reflected his inner feelings. Loneliness. Desperation.
No family. His mother died while he was young, attempting to raid a village. His father and brother couldn't care less for him, letting him do whatever he pleased, within the boundaries of his home. His father had extreme security issues and refused to let Roku have a chance of getting caught by any humans.
No friends. He wasn't permitted to go to school, and the only time he was let out into the outside world was to hunt. Human blood was necessary for him to survive, after all. He was always to hunt for two hours each week, and no more.
This two-hour time frame where he was admitted to the outside world was his only freedom. Finally! He could explore! Over time, he became more efficient at hunting to allow for a larger time slot of freedom. Hunting became a quick, 30-minute excursion, while his curiosity drove the rest of his time.
Trees, buildings, the vibrant buzzing of Nihoa! The people talking, the skies, the river, the animals!
Paradise was there, and it was accessible to him for two hours a week.
However, there was something that made Roku more inclined to venture outside than ever before.
On the big screens scattered around Nihoa, idol groups would sing, with cheering crowds watching on, huge smiles plastered on their faces.
It was perfect. They were perfect.
What Roku didn't know was that it was not the songs they sang that propelled him to seek to be in one of those idol groups, but the appearance of comradery and friendship they seemed to share.
He wanted that.
Once he reached an age of 50, his father recognised how foolish it would be to lock Roku up any further in the house; Roku was constantly rebelling, starving himself for extended periods of time to use those two hours to explore more about the human world. Thus, he let him go.
At an audition, Roku was recognised for his singing ability, but his refusal to sing modern pop songs and only sing classical tunes forced a second place. Although he didn't win anything in that audition, a secondary company recognised his talent and allowed him to join an idol group.
CITI was formed.
CITI was the only reason that Roku could feel empathetic towards human beings. They taught him to love the support from fans and to cherish one another's existence.
At first, Roku tried to keep his race a complete secret. His ability to erase memories within a short time span did not make this a difficult task. However, he was later involved in an incident with his roommate, Akaji, which forced him to reveal his identity to him.
However, being supportive, only the leader knows, and his secret still remains safe.
Kou
Adopted stepbrother. Calls him "sun" mockingly. Respects him, but also, as a big brother, thinks he makes too many mistakes. Love-hate relationship.
Satoi
Older brother. Treats him with respect, and learns how to cover up hunts with him. Is distant with him, but enjoys sharing in their dark humour together.
