Scatter's Comments

Eliza sighed and stretched as she stepped out of her car. She was parked on the side of a quiet town road, with small stacked houses lining the street. A light flipped on in the house in front of her, and the door opened slowly, flooding light into the almost-dark outside. In the door frame stood Tommorow, who looked Eliza up and down.
"Took you long enough." He muttered. Eliza smiled and grabbed her bag.
"Traffic sucks. Part of the highway was under construction." She replied. "Seems like they're always fixing things."

The pair of them headed inside, making small chat about Eliza's trip up. The two of them had become friends in highschool, and alrhough they lived states apart, they would often drive up to see eachother a few times a year. Both of them were quiet, and even if they weren't talking the entire time, they both enjoyed eachother's company.

Eliza sat her stuff down on the guest bed, and ran her hands through her hair.
"So I'll see you tomm-" A loud thump interrupted that. She glanced at Tomorrow, raising her eyebrow. Tomorrow sighed, and turned into the kitchen. Eliza followed closely behind, as the thumping got louder and louder, and was joined with what sounded like crashing. Tommorow seemed to be uneffected by this strange disturbance, and instead was grabbing... a hamburger from the freezer? Outside, a car alarm sounded, and she rushed to the window. Outside in the low light, she spotted what appeared to be a giant snake with small, stubby arms. It was all black, with purple rings on either side of it's long body. It was busy with something in the allyway, and backed out of the narrow area with a trashcan stuck on it's head. After wandering around for a moment, blind and confused, it pulled the metal bin off of it's head and blinked. It looked around blankly for a moment then noticed Eliza staring in shock out of the window. It seemed to smile, a grin filled with sharp looking teeth, and made it's way to Tomorrow's house. Eliza felt like screaming. Was this thing going to kill her?  It sure looked like it could climb a wall- It stopped under the window, and strained it's neck to reach Eliza. When the thing realized it couldn't reach her, it looked around for a solution. It found Eliza's rental car. 

Climbing onto the car, crushing the top of it and setting off the alarm, it was feet away from Eliza. She backed away, and started to run across the house when she ran face first into Tomorrow, looking very calm and holding a fresh hamburger.

"T-That thing- It's going to-"
"It's Gnik. We're familiar with him. He's just a big dog who comes around at night." He replied, holding up the burger. "He loves burgers."
Tomorrow grabbed Eliza's wrist and led her back to the window, where Gnik was waiting. Now that Eliza realized Tomorrow wasn't scared of it, she realized that a Big Dog was a perfect way to explain him. He was wagging the end of his tail, making loud thumps on the floor.

"Hey Gnik, you big dummy!" Tomorrow called out. Gnik opened it's mouth to reveal the rows of teeth, and Tomorrow tossed a hamburger into the waiting mouth. Gnik snapped it's mouth closed, and swallowed it within seconds. Without a second look, it lumbered away into the night, leaving a crushed car, a trash can in the street, and a confused Eliza.

"Anyways, see you in the morning." Tomorrow said, and left Eliza standing by the window, confused and concerned.

How am I going to explain this to the insurance comapny?

i was totally gonna draw Eliza watching Tomorrow throw a hamburger at Gnik but i didnt have time hjbDHJDS
