My secondary Wolfwalkers OC. Reed's best friend (and crush), she is inadvertently made a Wolfwalker while accompanying Reed on a disastrous birdwatching expedition. After her friend is attacked by what she perceives to be a rabid wolf, Niamh is successful in beating the creature off but is also bit in the process. 

Whereas Reed embraces their newfound gift and considers it a form of escape from her depressing home life, Niamh is more reluctant to see any sort of good in it, seeing it as a barrier between herself and her loving family. Seeking out a cure causes her to realise that the attack on them both was no accident and that the one who bestowed their gift upon them, Ciara, intends to spread the "curse" amongst the local children in a bid to avenge her fallen husband. 

With Reed seemingly on the adult Wolfwalker's side and slowly beginning to see her as a surrogate mother, it's soon down to Niamh to thwart Ciara's plans and free Reed from her manipulation.
