Gozu and Mezu's names were both based (more like taken from) the two guardians of the Underworld, Ox-Head (Gozu) and Horse-Face (Mezu). These two are the "guardians" of Cirque au Poupée and guard the entrance to the circus. (They appear as circus members who welcome their guests to enjoy the circus.)
It is currently unknown if they're true Des-Dolls to the Factory which is why their Code Name is unknown but they appear to be extremely loyal to Des-Doll Entertainer Lambda, the leader of the cirus who in turn, is loyal to the Des-Doll Factory.
Fun Fact: Their names were chosen on based by their hair colors and the statues found here.
