Aiden

Found abandoned on the slopes of Mt. Coronet as a baby, Aiden was taken in by a group of Pokemon thieves operating in Snowpoint City, growing up to become one of them. Eventually, she was caught by police and betrayed when her "father" disowned her, claiming that he didn't know her in order to protect the rest of the gang. She was sent to a juvenile hall for a couple of years as a result.

During this time, she came to question whether or not she was a good person, and after seeing several league tournaments, she decided to turn her back on her "family", opting to become a league champion herself, to prove to herself that she was more than a low-down thief. She was offered a chance at an early release, on the condition that she became a Pokemon Ranger as part of her parole, to ensure that she didn't return to her old ways. She reluctantly accepted the deal, and is now on her way to Hoenn to both fulfill her dream, and to do what her superiors tell her to do.

Sharp-tongued and clever, she manages to talk herself into trouble just as much as she talks herself out of it. She's keen on manipulating others into doing what she wants them to, but her boisterous behavior can't always get her out of trouble. She's also decided to erase her past completely, using a new name and giving herself new looks that stem far away from the thief she used to be. Of course, no one can outrun the past forever...

While Aiden can be very snarky, as long as people are on her good side, she can come off as quite amicable, if cocky. She's hard pressed to say no to a challenge, and tries her best to keep a lid on her arrogance, but if things go well for her in a fight, she tends to slip up and let it get the better of her, putting her and her Pokemon in unnecessary danger. Her confidence can be easily shattered if certain circumstances come into play that turn the tables on her quickly, and she slides into rage the longer she's at a disadvantage. While she isn't a sore loser and can accept defeat, if the other battler uses the opportunity to be just as arrogant, she'll fire right back. Aiden isn't afraid to fight dirty when the advantage presents itself, but will honor league rules during trainer and gym battles.
