Marina

Marina is a flamboyant diva who lives life centre stage. Almost eccentric, she seemingly does anything for the dramatic flare.

Marina is adored by many. She has a great taste for the opera and the silver screen, and is well versed in the art of a play—be it the actors, the acting, the fashion, props, background, everything.

Growing up a child actor, Marina has always had eyes on her. For Marina, her private life was her public life. She found her life was play where the curtains never closed.

Her parents, who were also A-List celebrities, died tragically when she was young. The papers plastered her face alongside her parents, and every interview forced upon Marina killed something inside her. She was never truely allowed to mourn her parents deaths.

She had to play up a facade; be heartbroken for but a moment, then continue her heart-stopping performances. Continue to raise up against all odds, and be the protagonist the world wants.

This killed a love for the theatrics in her heart, but the show must go on. She weighs too heavily the opinions of others and how they view her. If she fails, she’ll disappoint her parents.

Nowadays, Marina is still the loveable diva with a big personality. Sometimes this can get the better of her, Marina often needing to be brought back to reality by her closest friend, Eleanor. Perhaps Eleanor is the only person who knows the true Marina without the tear-stained mask.
