Profile

A business that built itself on the smuggling of drugs, organs and human beings, RR is thought by many to be nothing more than a scary story spread around the internet. It has numbers of employees scattered around the globe, supplying black markets with a fortune of illegally obtained goods. RR has manufactured its own reputation as a fictional tale, taking advantage of artificially spread stories in order to cover its tracks with ease. While there was once a direct line of investigation into the company, money bought the silence of many authority figures within law enforcement.

RR operates primarily through the kidnapping of unknown people from poorer and less documented regions of the world. Adults are auctioned off, some for dissection, some for slavery and the remainder to be used as the victims for snuff films and streams sold on the dark web. Children are primarily sold on, but the minority considered to show promise are withheld and put through years of intense and often fatal torture and training to eventually take up the roles of "Red's" and "Ruby's", the "hosts" of snuff streams and videos, torturing and killing their victims in whatever unpleasant manner the highest bidder calls for. Red's and Ruby's are also commonly used in the process of capturing and transporting people and other goods, considered expendable enough to be put directly in harms way.

Red's and Ruby's are usually disposable. Many wind up dead long before they develop any kind of reputation within the business. But the lucky few, should their work be noticed by those in power, may be able to earn their freedom.

Ruby lacks much when it comes to emotional reactions. She tends to speak only when it is needed and with as few words as possible, much preferring to finish her job and satisfy her superiors. Ruby is very much unable to form emotional bonds with many people. In truth, the only person she has any particular care for is her employer, the woman that was once both her captor and her mentor. The closest thing to a parental figure she can remember.
