Whistlewind

Attempts to be her Colony's main socialite but is a bit too scatter-brained to pull it off. While she is close to her family and gets along fairly well with the other cats of the Gorge, she has a nasty habit of turning cats she feels are "down on their luck" into her little "projects" and she feels compelled to nurse them back to health in a way that Physicians and Surgeons cannot, by "instilling confidence" in them and transforming their personality. While successful with her own pursuit of helping Squirrelblaze find her vibe in the Colony, her pursuits are less than appreciated by others. Including her daughter, Nettlenose, who just wants her to be a mom, not a wannabe mentor.

MOTHER: Bristlebrook - Bristlebrook does her best to see some good in her daughter's exploits but she reaches her limit when she realises that it is affecting Whistlewind's relationship with her own daughter, Nettlenose. The two are somewhat on the outs when it comes to how to raise her.

SIBLINGS: Mistlemint - Thinks that her sister needs to put herself "out there" a lot more, and often takes any criticism from her sister as a sign of jealousy. Especially when it comes to the topic of Nettlenose getting to know her father better vs. Thistlethorn, who is still completely unaware of who her father is.

MATE: Rainshadow (former) - Unlike most of Rainshadow's former mates, Whistlewind understands that their brief affair was simply them fooling around and her loyalty to her family and the Gorge ultimately came first. She was also delighted that she got a little daughter, Nettlenose, out of the arrangement too. 

Westernsky (crush) - There's just something about this rugged she-cat that makes Whistlewind's heart race. Westernsky is - perhaps blissfully - unaware of her affection for her, though this doesn't stop Whistlewind from doing her utmost to impress her and take her a bit more seriously. Like that'll ever happen!

OFFSPRING: Nettlenose - Parades her around as her perfect little golden child and puts a lot of emphasis on the fact that she is a successful Surgeon and highly regarded by all of the Colonies. Nettlenose just wishes she'd simmer down a bit and actually treat her like a daughter rather than a trophy.
