Dauntless is the debut album of Standard Faith. It was the first collaboration between the band and the McAlpine Twins as producers.
The album is noted for its themes of handling hurtful relationships and abuse, which were considered controversial at the time.
Despite the album's pervasive reputation, it garnered the attention of the youth and spawned 3 hit singles:
"If You Care", "Kerosene Heart" and "Nothing More, Nothing Less"; "Kerosene Heart" reached the top 10 in UK and US charts.
