Heavy WIP. A water dragon by blood, but far enough removed from his ancestors in his modern setting that his ability to channel his species' innate magic is slim to none. It's a major chip on his shoulder. He's extremely proficient in other ways, capable of picking up and using just about any weapon with finesse and has incredible bodily awareness, but his excellent proprioception only gets him so far. It's tough bringing a gun to a magic fight, and there are much stronger dragons whose families were very selective about their lineage that pose him great threat (and likewise he to them, as an unknown loose end).
Despite his family lacking magical prowess, as dragons (still powerful apex predators in their own right) they have been able to amass handsome generational wealth, so Caspian doesn't want for much. He spends his days training and only takes on work (often times escort or hit missions) when he's feeling the urge or to keep himself sharp; money is of little consequence to him.
