object show person hired by the host to pretend to be a villain. they act as someone who wants to live forever and is terrified of death/the final death when no one remembers who they are to revive. theyre daring, and while sometimes they seem reckless, they usually try to calculate if the consequences to a risk are something they can manage. even when failing, they can laugh it off and continue forward, becuase nothing is going to stop them (maybe slow down, but never fully cease) contestants dont know that their villain persona is an act but host purposely acts incompetent for higher ratings.
however, they start to find legitimate reasons to believe that immortality is possible. this becomes tempting to them as then theyd be worry free when it comes to death, not having to worry about becoming too sick to live or deterioating in body or mind. the temptation to get immmortatlity starts them on a descent to do increasing more immoral things in their quest (host just thinks theyre being dramatic for the shows sake, not doing actual harm)
