- The song name "Myliobatis Aquila" is the scientific name for the common eagle ray
- Kei's design has been stuck in my head for a good decade
- When on land, Keilani moves similar to a sea turtle or seal
- Keilani has superior smell and sight and has depth perception even with just one eye open
- Keilani uses all pronouns because her culture has no concept of genders or gender roles. Their language also has no gendered pronouns, using the same for all.
- She finds major intrigue in ancient sunken ships, yet has gotten injured in them enough times to learn caution - but the cool trinkets inside don't stop him completely!
- When things get a bit stressful, or even as a regular routine, Keilani resorts to their favorite spot - a flat rock above the surface of the ocean. It's an ideal star-gazing place, plus a comfy spot for daydreaming.
