When Maiya said she'd do anything for her children, she wasn't exaggerating. Their dreams have been haunted by monsters beyond their comprehension, and she isn't going to just let some creature hurt her kids for any longer. So, she did what any mother with an extensive support system would do - she went adventuring with the sole goal to kick this monster's ass and make it regret ever existing.
When you first meet her, she’s a sweet southern-esque lady who seems to love 1) cussing and 2) making mom jokes. She can and will adopt you, especially if you’re younger than her. May the Gods have mercy on whoever pisses her off, ESPECIALLY if they hurt her loved ones, because she can and will turn you into a fine red mist. She isn’t very understanding of modern trends, but is supportive as long as they don’t hurt others or themselves. She can sometimes get too protective, however, and if someone so much as makes a scratch on her kids (biological or adoptive), she will just go bonkers unless somebody stops her.
