SYNOPSIS

[]

Aeon, a symbiote born from an egg, was once a deity that had fallen from grace.

Darkness, the blood of the past has been shed, yet only the body remains. The stars remember the past life they had, laying down the egg born anew. It was a deep, dark shell. No sound, no sight, no breathing. A biote slowly takes the path of an indistinguishable figure, the figure feels the emptiness surrounding them. Cold, their fingers grip their arms tightly; it's soft. A wavy feeling brushing between each fingertip, underneath it, a scaly shell.

The space lessens and lessens, crafting a sense of restlessness. The form begins to move, pushing against the darkened enclosure. Unmoving, the weak, pitiful sounds of thumping can be heard, then quiet. There’s nothing to be done.

Suddenly, there are noises. Though, there was no accurate way of locating the source. However, a bright light appeared, thin yet a glimmer of hope. Inspecting this new sensation, one could see nothing but white.

Then, the light got cut off. A small swish was heard before something slammed through the hole. Two new sensations appeared, the feeling of immense pain, and the screeching echo from the abyss. The light comes back, but it is half-seen. There were hitched breaths, a sudden dizzying feeling, and soon, the exposure to overwhelming light. The dark liquid surrounding the figure flowed along the crevasses of the ground, trickling past the figure in search of a new companion.

The sky eventually grew dark, the moonlight casting a faint glow onto the immovable figure. The liquid has seeped into their hair, danced on their fur, it embellished their fingertips. The fingers slowly started to feel weight, feeling the cold ground beneath them. Digging its nails into this new sensation. Soft grains dug under them as the figure slowly started to open their eyes. Blues, purples, strains of monochrome infested their vision.

Then came a sharp pang and liquid started to trickle down their face, coloring this new view in reds and blacks. It stung. Tears streaked down their face and blurred their vision.

The reflection of the pearl showed a dark crescent on his right eye. A permanent reminder of when Aeon cast his gaze towards the light.

The grief cast in the form of an egg lost to the stars once more.
