Mar

The lost Greenfinger from the tribe Metus Vescor.

  Mar is the youngest of a winter group. Sprouted mid-winter, and only his nesting survived. He and his siblings were named by a human caretaker. his name was Mars for the first 12 years of his life. Which were harsh. Not fully at the fault of the current leader of the tribe. Still, he managed to make friends. Such as his nestmates (Venus, Neptune, Jupiter, Mercury, Earth, Ceres, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto), a few unnamed Floran, a few odd creatures, and Grapevine. But he also makes enemies. Such as Rose and her nestmates. And Queen, not that he or she knew at that time.

He’s a gardener and builder at heart. Violence honestly scares him and he’d rather avoid all the fighting. Or just leave it to someone else. Do not make him feel cross, the only way to do so is harm someone he cares for.

  He escapes with two Apex who were being held prisoner. Henery and Margarita, they in turn take him to their ship. Where he has a few misadventures, gets hurt, fights pirates, sees ghosts. 3 years spent there, and once the captain of that ship kicks him off, he's off to the next place. A space station where he works at a rest-stop. After leaving there, his next stop is earth. But by this time, his kind heart was growing tired and weak. Turns out Earth was just the thing he needed though because it's...

  Where he meets his best friend. 

  Ushi.

  They are probably the only reason he was able to handle any sort of living during his time on earth. They welcomed him to their home and life. Taught him things about earth, about ships, how to drive, how to cook a bit. And certain all about how to care. Mar lives close to Ushi and their parents, a bridge close to the school Ushi goes to actually. Where they sneak him in sometimes. And graduation nears.

  Disaster. RUIN.

  He ends up back in space. His story continues.

Mar is a childish Floran, with plenty of love in his heart. He believes the best in most beings, despite being overly cautious when it comes to his own kind. He is open and welcoming. He is always willing to put others before himself, a bit to often. He is self destructive when it comes to taking care of others, and as he grows up, he learns to take care of himself too.

Skilled with plants, he can craft herbal cures for most anything. He basically turns the ship into a moving garden, and he loves talking to plants. He always felt like they were listening... He also has a little bit of experience with venoms and poisons due to the training some of his nestmates had.

Fairly weak physically, but he keeps trying to learn more in order to defend himself and those he cares for.
