PENDING's Ownership

If the character is made under another user’s closed/open species, please refer to the terms of service for that species instead!

• You may sell, trade, or gift my character designs, regardless of how you receive it. You can resell the adoptable for any monetary amount.
• The design of the character can be changed to whatever you'd like, and you may make any sibling derivatives, alternate forms, free open/closed species, etc. from it. Free open/closed species means that other people may create their own character based off of the original, but you (the owner) and participants in the species cannot sell adoptables of it, nor the characters they make for the species. Trades and gifts will still be allowed. In order to sell in any form, please message me for an additional commercial rights fee.
• By completing a transaction to an adoptable or custom design made by me, you receive the right to use the character for non-commercial purposes. Commercial use, which includes monetized closed species, will require an additional amount paid to me (you can do this even if you obtain my designs from another user). You may DM me to discuss this matter!
• I retain copyright and the right to credit/authorship for all adoptables or customs, and I will refuse offers to sell these rights to you.
• Ownership of an adoptable is not finalized until the complete purchase/trade offer is completed.
• I cannot offer a refund for an adoptable once I transfer its ownership to you.
• You may not revoke ownership of my character designs back to yourself after passing ownership to another user under any circumstance, unless financial/art payment fraud is involved. After completing a transaction, you forfeit all ownership rights of the character design and their associated artworks to the user you exchange my designs to.
• I allow co-owning of my adoptables (i.e. 2 or more people own the character).
