Winton isn't totally sure how he died the first time. probably something silly, like tripping down the stairs and hitting his head, or choking on his dinner. He swears he wasn't this clumsy when he was a kit, that ever since he got these darn wings he's always knocking into things! Good thing that along with the wings, he was given the astounding ability to cheat death, so don't worry about that piano about to fall on him, he'll be fine in about an hour.
Despite what he claims, he has always been a bit clumsy. His mind is always on something else, maybe even a few things at a time, and they're far more important than looking where hes going. He's so used to it, hes never had it any other way. Hes got a good heart and always tries to do the right thing, he doesnt really like to pick fights and stays out of trouble as much as possible. He very much enjoys his quiet time on his ranch with his husband and daughter.
- Whenever he dies, there is a minor explosion as he turns to ash. no matter what caused it, he will literally explode into ashes and leave a pile on the ground
- the explosion isnt dangerous to anyone else, just startling and maybe a bit messy if they're too close.
- Winton will wake up perfectly fine and healed wherever the majority of his ashes are placed after about an hour has passed
