Faya MoonHeart is what ponys call a "love alicorn" similar to princess Cadence faya spreads love with her magic. Tho she is not saw as a princess her existence is hidden from ponys tho only a few know of her due to living in the same small village. 

Faya Doesn't Use her looks to get rulership she is perfectly fine living upon a village full of "Name of species"  they have strong connections to nature and the whole village is filled with love and care for one another.
