A Ghost type elite specialist, Chaton is part of the Opalian Elite 4. He's super fidgety and cannot sit still for very long, often taking his Ghosts to mess with other people and play tricks on them. They're very avid in helping the player progress through the story, but only really gets in the way if the villain team become too out of control.

Chaton is prone to bad fits of paranoia and panic attacks, but he masks this very well when in the company of others. Their drifloon, Mary, usually knows what to do to help and will fetch him trinkets or bring him places he likes.
