"Come on, Markus. What do you think she'll do, murder a thief in the middle of the night while she trips on her own feet?"

Today was the day that marked the sixth month of her 18th year of living. Today was the day that she could finally set out to explore, as tradition to her culture. Her father's weapons, re-sharpened and repaired set on her dresser. After getting ready and saying what could be her final goodbyes to her parents in person, she went to find her closest friend, Markus, who she made a promise with to be adventurers together. She stopped at the bar, where he commonly resided when he wasn't with his guild, and knocked on the door, fully expecting to be denied access, and preparing for a physical confrontation.
