Yin

these creatures come from a far away dimension. their home is basically this big ancient maze they used to play around in. they were basically praised by this ancient civilization too. to them they were deities basically.  now, however.. they have been separated from each other and the civilization has vanished. all that is left is the ruins and some tiny critters here and there.

the balance pair themselves weren't praised for no reason though. their bodies are certainly the most advanced out of all the creatures around them. (it is common for creatures in this dimension to grow and extract limbs for self defense and resources)

these two creatures have the ability to grow multiple new limbs and can even develop their brains further for a short period of time to solve complex problems. besides that they too are able to regenerate each cell and organ in their body, which has basically blessed them with immortality.
