before he joined psyke, idrus was the boss of a mafia group that held large amounts of control under his rule. he was a ruthless but strong leader, doing what had to be done no matter the cost. to him, the group came first in all situations.

   when the toxins hit, most of his group was affected and died within days. for the remaining of them, they struggled to deal with mutations and the radiation and eventually, idrus was left alone. he felt as if he had failed his group, and didn't do enough to save them from their fates. he scavenged the post-apocalyptic world by his lonesome, struggling to deal with the side-effects of radiation himself as well a fair handful of mutations. 

   eventually, he came across psyke, recruited by their peculiar leader, chronos. while it felt odd to him at first following someone else's commands, he found a group of people who cared about him and he could learn to care about as well. idrus made a promise to himself that he would protect them at all costs, using his bulky body and his mutation to keep them safe.
