A foil to Jojo's jovial and free-spirited soul, Lincoln travels a lot as well but with the ideas of learning and enriching his cultural perceptions. His family misses him terribly, wishing he would stay home instead with them, but they're proud of the work he's done and the friends he's made along the way. He has a lot of very fond memories from all of his travel places, hoping to continue returning to them and the bonds he's made along them. He wishes to go to the big states someday, not originally from there and harboring a European accent that many of dogs have swooned at him for, whether he was aware or not.

He's surprised when he finds Jojo nearly contrasting his ideas entirely; wanting to go and travel only to see the sights and not make the connections in fear of wanting to stay somewhere as he continues wandering instead. Lincoln finds it somewhat fascinating, yet also sad. He's found himself oddly drawn to him and the bombastic/excited attitude he brings, hoping to convince him the true meaning of what it should be to wander and why Lincoln does it himself.
