Akarui

a Foxian girl who has a passion and talent for dancing. she gets by in life by doing street performances.

despite usually drawing a crowd and having many eyes on her while dancing, Akarui is actually incredibly shy. she doesn't know how to handle social situations and will usually clam up when people try to talk with her. when she does try to speak, her voice will be quiet and she stutters over her words a lot. no one would expect her to be so shy and social awkward given how confident she seems when preforming. this is mainly because she tends to space out when she's dancing so she doesn't notice all the people around and watching her. but as soon as she's done and realizes she's back to being shy and quiet.

even though she struggles to speak, it doesn't mean she doesn't want to build connections with people. in fact someone she was very close to was Tingyun. the two of them had a sorta sibling relationship, with Tingyun acting like an older sister in a way and looking after Akarui. since they were close, you can only imagine the amount of pain Akarui felt when she found out about Tingyun's death. she still gets sad when she thinks too long about it, but she's doing alright in the present for the most part. in fact, due to experiencing such a great loss, it actually gave her the courage to try and be more social.

presently, she's good friends with Sushang, Guinaifen, and Betty. the four of them are like a silly little friend group and Akarui is happy to be friends with them.
