Delilah is a kind girl. She's very altruisitic, even in a case where she could possibly get hurt. She tends to prioritize others than herself. She's extremely forgiving when it comes to people.

She's far to empathetic for her own good. She can't help but see herself in the shoes of other people no matter how bad they seem to be.

History

Delilah had always wanted to protect those that she loved, just like her adoptive Alpha Floss parents.

When she was barely a toddler, she had been kidnapped in her neighborhood one afternoon. She had wandered out too far from the safety of her home street after chasing a bouncy ball she had been playing with. Being drugged and then bagged was one of the most traumatizing experiences of her life.

Fortunately for her, her parents were both policemen with a military background. They managed to rescue their daughter in due time, right before she could be held hostage by her captives.

The Iota crime group that had kidnapped her wanted to make big money off her parents, but they severely underestimated the strength and determination that her parents possessed as they fought to get her back. By the time she had woken up, she found herself in the safety of a hospital room, with her mother and father by her side. Tears welled up in her eyes as she was captured in their arms, locked in a tight family hug.

Ever since that incident, Delilah's been determined to be strong and selfless, just like her parents.

She strove to be a cop throughout her teenage years and even went as far as to study underneath the leading police officer in her area for a special internship program.

For a while, everything was going great for Delilah.

She even gained a best friend and a boyfriend along the way by the time she went to high school.

By the time she had graduated, Delilah was already on her way to enrolling in a police academy. Her parents had retired by then and were proud of where she was in life. Things were going steady.

And then the Peppermint Virus happened.

It was a world-wide epidemic that broke out in the Zeta Clan during the month of December and it just rapidly spread from there. No one could stop it, for it was an airborne disease with unpredictable outcomes. Delilah had been there as part of the Nu defense squad to calm down the mayhem that had been breaking out. People were rioting in hospitals and so many were worried sick over their loved ones.

And then, one, night, Delilah had woken up to an excruciating pain.

it traveled down her arms, her legs, her chest. She could barely breathe as she tumbled out from her bed, her mind numb to the agony that pierced through every fiber of her being. All she could hear was her own screams echoing all around her, as if doing so would stop the hurting.

Then, much to her horror, an eyeball started developing on her arm, penetrating through her pale pink fur. Tears blurred her vision as she felt more eyes pop up one by one.

During the madness of it all, Delilah had to be put into quarantine.

Her parents were worried sick about her health and tried to make sure that she was okay. She tried to assure them that she was fine over the phone, but she knew that she was lying to herself.

She wasn't fine.

She was always feeling cold, she was constantly shivering, and her vision was growing disoriented from having all these eyes scattered across her body. She couldn't do anything.

She felt useless.

Even her boyfriend had left her.

He told her through text: hey bby im srry but i think we should break up, ur kinda too ugly for me now and im not sure i wanna be around u while ur like dis

And then, to add the final blow to her feelings, he added: oh haha im also dating ur best friend hope u don't mind

In short, Delilah didn't have a best friend to rely on either. It was a double lose situation.

Even though her family was still there for her, there was only so much they could do to support her from afar.

One day, when she had been breaking down, just crying to herself in a corner, a Beta Floss by the name of Gabriel approached her. He tried to awkwardly console her, and though it was a clumsy attempt, it still made her feel a bit touched. The fact that he tried to help her, someone that he didn't know at the time, was really encouraging and helped brighten her day.

From there, Gabriel would often be by her side as a new friend, always there to help restore faith in herself. She slowly grew to develop feelings, she couldn't help but fall for his soft nature and warm attempts at cheering her up. However, she was afraid of confessing this, especially since she didn't want to face another potential heartbreak.

Her last ex-boyfriend was, as much as she didn't want to admit this, a shallow asshole and she was hesitant with romance at the time.

Then, one day, when she, Gabriel, and another friend of theirs named Sasuke were in a required group therapy session, Gabriel actually had a full on meltdown. He started breaking apart as he told everyone about how he wasn't handling all of the virus changes as well as he wanted to.

This time, it was Delilah's turn to comfort Gabriel.

She tried to assure him about everything through all the tears and even tried to buy him some ice cream, since they could only consume cold foods while they were still sick.

He appreciated her efforts at comforting him.

They continued to grow even closer after that.

By the time January had rolled around the corner, a cure had been invented for the Peppermint Virus and they were able to be released from the hospital. While Gabriel was taking slow steps into becoming a popular model, Delilah gradually worked her way up to becoming his personal bodyguard.

They eventually became a couple after expressing their mutual feelings for each other on Valentine's Day.

Now Delilah's currently traveling the world with Gabriel by her side. Though they have a home in the mountains of the Psi Clan, they're not bound in that area for long and can usually be found moving around and exploring all sorts of sites.

Trivia

Delilah is a Nu Peppermintfloss from the Nu clan!

Her force field abilities as a Nu is really impressive. Her ability to moves things around and stop things in motion are decent, but making walls, domes and platforms is her specialty.

Her voice is very soft and whispery. She can be a little bit hard to hear at times. If you listen closely, she does have a subtle lisp.

She has a deep interest for geology! She just finds it cool how these things can form and how beautiful the shapes and patterns of the rocks can be made.
