About:

Gabrielle is a young woman, with a passion for wood carving. She is often selling her tiny woof sculptures when she travels around Amestris, with hopes to gain enough money to buy her father, a man who quit being a soldier in the Ishval Civil War because of a grave injury, an automail. She would later find Dominic LeCoulte, and after finding out how expensive his work is, feels almost defeated. But when he said "If you can't afford it, then learn" right before telling her to "get lost because he doesn't teach strangers", he recommended that she would search for "The Leopardess of Resembool". 

So, Gabrielle eventually traveled to meet the Rockbells and told her story. Pinako wasn't really interested in teaching at the moment, but her story managed to move her granddaughter, Winry, to try and teach her. 

She usually makes wood models of upcoming automails, and specializes in the design, often decorating them with flowers or anything that would make then aesthetically pleasing.
