Irving

    Irving is a mild-mannered, average man who worked a mundane job and lived an unremarkable life. He cycled through one generic office job to another to support his contendedly disfunctional marriage he couldn't be bothered to leave out of the trouble it'd cause for his children. He passed through the decades like a ghost, until he recieved a peculiar email from someone he swore he could remember, but couldn't quite place. He took an impromptu trip to the mountains, and never returned. Another generic missing person headline, a small town story that would soon be forgotten. "Local businessman vanishes in the forest" - probably just forgot to check out of the hotel. Maybe he ran from his wife. Maybe his tire went flat and he ditched his car - that wouldn't be too odd, would it? It was a piece of junk. The stillness means nothing. The trees aren't really watching. There is no man in the woods.
