* Left behind by her cat family due to being the runt of the litter, she wandered the streets alone as a kitten until she was found and taken in by a light magic using Tiefling named Polaris.
* She was spoiled rotten by Polaris and would follow the Tiefling around as she taught magic to kids and helped the townsfolk out using her magic.
* Until one day an Anti Magic group broke into the observatory they lived at and killed Polaris. The magic left Polaris' body as she died and entered Nova's small regular cat body, thus transforming her into a magical humanoid Tabaxi.
* Now she vows to find out who killed her beloved mother and bring them to justice.
