she's always been a more reclusive individual, finding more joy being alone and independent than relying on others. this doesn't mean she hates people, just being around too many strangers at once often drains her battery and she shuts down. it's easier for her to simply make up excuses to leave early or even stay home than try to explain her way out of a full blown shutdown.
there are times she truly can get talking, since she's more of an observer by nature. maxx can go on forever about her current projects or games that have recently caught her attention.
