Personality
Kamisori isn't book smart, which shows through how he acts. He's mature when he needs to be. He's commonly aloof and carefree. He's very social, finding it easy to get along in groups of people. He always tries his best to sneak jokes in whenever he can.

Background

Kamisori is from Azabu, Tokyo, located in the third ward (Minato Ward). Unlike most ghouls, Kamisori had the benefit of being able to get a proper education. He attended Fukushima Academy, an education center that was secretly run by a board full of ghouls. He didn't do too well in his humanities classes but excelled in the arts, even while struggling with the fact that he has tritanopia (blue-yellow colorblindness). Attending Fukushima Academy was supposed to help him get a leg up in the world, especially since the board had systems in place to assist their ghoul student population. Yet Kamisori had gotten expelled towards the end of his third year for breaking several school policies. Upon finding out that their son had been expelled, Kamisori's parents disowned him and kicked him out of their home.

With nowhere to go and only a couple of bucks on him, Kamisori packed a bag and ended up in the eleventh ward. He found himself in Helter Skelter, hiding out in a back booth, with nothing else to do he ended up sketching out the scene before him. Before Itori was able to fully close the bar for the night, she found him asleep and hunched over. Curiosity got the best of her, she woke him up and started talking to him about how he got here. Feeling bad for him, Itori let him sleep on the couch at her place that night, and the next morning she brought him to HySy to meet Uta. She cashed in a favor with him which resulted in Kamisori becoming Uta's apprentice. He later joined the clowns and under Uta's instruction ended up helping create their subdivision titled the AcroBrats, a smaller branch that consisted of younger ghouls who helped recruit new members. The group also carries out small jobs to help support the cause of the Clowns.

Powers and abilities:

  • Due to his creative abilities, Kamisori's bikaku appearance showcases that. When formed, it takes the look of a calligraphy pen. When he hunts if given the time Kamisori will leave a quick doodle of his mask by any corpses he leaves behind in his victim's blood.
  • Since he has a bikaku kagune, Kamisori is better suited for defense against close range attacks. He has a harder time defending himself from long-range attacks, especially against ukaku users.

Skills:

  • Kamisori is a very skilled artist, his best medium being painting. A close second is charcoal artwork.

Trivia:

  • The first time Kamisori showed Uta, Uta asked why all his colors were different and why Kamisori picked them. He explained to Uta that he had the tritanopia form of colorblindness so it was hard for him what colors he was using. This interested Uta and he ended up pushing Kamisori to create more pieces of that style.
  • For awhile, Kamisori struggled to come to terms with the fact that he has tritanopia. He thought because of his colorblindness that he wouldn’t become a great artist. This caused him to rip his own eyes out, thinking that when they healed he would have normal vision, this was not the case. When his vision came to, he broke down and ended up expressing to Uta how he felt. Uta was able to calm him down and tell him that his colorblindness was an advantage to his pieces because he could create things that were outside an artist’s norm.
