Orphaned in his childhood and raised by a dragon, Kevin is caught amid the struggle of two worlds, yet takes it upon himself to be the bridge between them. He knows peace is possible, proven multiple times over by his bond with his guardian Teighenth, yet he has yet to realize that the stakes are higher than he ever could have imagined.

As a child, Kevin was bright and curious, eager to learn everything there was to know about the world — every language that had been spoken, every creature that had ever lived, every piece of history, he wished to discover them all. Those traits have persisted long into his present years, but so have the scars that have been left upon him due to tragedy. He is as honest as they come, and forever kind to those he meets, yet he finds it difficult to truly open his heart again, so fearful he is of letting someone in only for them to be cruelly ripped away. Thus he appears shy and guarded, seemingly preferring the company of his draconic guardian over other humans. However, that same fear of loss has also lent him strength as a fierce protector, to the point where he is willing to give his life so that another may be saved. Certainly, he is much braver than he thinks he is — he needs only the time for him to truly come into his own.
