CHIMNEY - it/its - abandoned railroad crpytid
Haunted of abandoned railroads, and represents the bitterness of the natural world around railroads as they reclaim their land. Chimney serves as a manifestation of how wrong it feels to treck upon old tracks, to steal from them, to be around them at all. Featuring parts of common wood animals you'd see at night- owls, deer, canines. Its body is overwhelmed with random wings and eyes, horribly overgrown antlers, its hair is raggedy and dreadful- its meant to be really overbearing to look at cuz there's so much there and so many parts its carrying, you almost feel bad for it. It stresses you out, makes you want to dissipate on the spot and just get anywhere where it isn't. Its eyes are so wide and the light spills forward like headlights, so when they make direct eye contact, your vision blurs and burns. Its almost always smiling, but there's no joy behind it. It has an awful smell of rust and metal and gunpowder. you hear the ticking of multiple clocks emanate from it- another thing you wish to escape from. Chim looms at 8 feet, half the height of a steam locomotive- instead of hunching over, it has to bend back a bit in stance to hold + counter the weight of everything on its head.
Despite its animalistic appearance, it resembles some "human" familiarity to its victims. It dons a brown leather jacket [patched where it's decayed], and pants of the same nature. It has an air of dignity and formality, like it enjoys finer things. Its voice is deep and has a weird air of charm to it. It speaks in riddles, hard-to-decipher, rarely anything it says is ever literal.
