Not many directly know what Anamnesis is like, for their presence is fleeting but reminiscent. They carry themselves in a solemn and resolute manner, as if they are eternally remorseful, longing for something. Their emotions have been dampened from time, primarily from often looking back at who they were before their Actualization.

They attempt to be kind to those that approach them, even if they are not directly optimistic in nature. They do not deliberately seek to help others, but may assist if they are needed by someone… for they are not a guide, but rather a suggestion to most. Deep within, they are emotionally aware that they are not particularly a good individual. They aren’t directly engaging with others in a personal sense. But they try anyway, trying to put their past behind them and make a new effort to be a better person from past experiences, even if that progress is slow.

Eidetic Memory

Anamnesis has a perfect recall of their previous life, as well as certain memories within them. They can simply pluck a memory to share, with photogenic precision. They do not forget.

Shadow In The Fog

There is something ever so familiar about them, but ever so strange. Anamnesis may shape themselves into a plethora of forms, often to invoke reminiscence in individuals. They deliberately make their shapeshifts feel incomplete, like a shadow in the distant fog, attempting to allow those who view them to remember.

Rules of Rememberance

The simple title of the foundation of their abilities that allows them to interact with the past. These include the following:

Restore - A simple remnant when they first possessed a different Idea. Anamnesis is capable of restoring parts of reality that were distorted from lingering magical effects, such as reality shattering contradictions and other magical effects. They can reconstruct them as long as they have a reference, such as using a memory from another, or witnessing the previous state of that reality beforehand.

Recall - By tapping into a willing soul, Anamnesis can view an individual’s previous life sequentially and non-sequentially, like watching a movie and scrolling through its film. Anamnesis may archive a recalled life if the individual wants to view them at a later time. They never share these publicly.

Return - Anamnesis can revert an individual back in time (whether both their body and consciousness, or just their consciousness) to a previous point in their existence. Changes may result in timelines merging or branching out. They use this sparingly on others, but quite often on themselves. They may purposefully go back in time as a mirage to watch a story “in person.”

- Anamnesis uses their return ability to communicate back to the past and interact with Ideation's present day. The duration of their travel can last for up to three (3) days, until they exhaust themselves.

- They exist in the future of the main Ideation continuity, but on a different scope where the events they trigger already happened, allowing them to not cause a physicality paradox with their previous self. however, they still avoid their previous self at all costs, to avoid any potential risk of their previous self choosing to alter the possibility of their existence in the future. they CAN still relay information to their past self without contact, if presented anonymously.

- Interactions with other OCs and changes caused by their return ability may follow them into the future.
