"Life's tough. Fortunately, I'm built a lot tougher."

Species: Human
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 40
Height: 5'5"
Origin: Zaun
Character Type: Champion
Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Hospitable, Nuturing; however, she does not easily trust others. Very good at acting from her time as a spy. Incredibly loyal to those she loves.
About: Since the day Avive was born, nothing has come very easily for her. She lost her parents at a young age, the same as many other children of the Lanes, and learned very quickly if she didn't have some way to support herself, she would die. At first, she was a petty thief, but not stealing from the Lanes, of course. Piltover had more than enough to suffice, so why not enjoy? Though as she got older, security tightened, and it was hard to play the innocent little child role. Rather though, as she got into her 20s, she found she could get much more by using her looks rather than just taking in the shadows. Both Zaun's corrupted wealthy and Piltover's men and women were more than happy to have such a lovely woman keep them company, and she was more than happy to take from right under their noses. While stealing was easy enough now, there was another thing she noticed. They were also more than willing to run their mouths and spill out anything she wanted to hear. If she could turn a profit so easily from stealing, imagine how much easier and safer it would be to steal secrets instead. So, naturally, Avive didn't let this go to waste and was more than happy to start spying for those who had the right price. She had her morals however, and wouldn't work against her home, nor anyone she deemed untrustworthy.

Until one day, several years after she had began her career, she took a job to spy on some aspiring scientists in the city. All she had to do was meet them at a party they were going to, seduce one of them, get him to talk, and come back with what she had. Easy enough, or so she had thought. She got to the party, met up with them, chatted with both for a while before one went to talk and she was left with the other. He was rather awkward on his own, but he certainly wasn't the worst she'd ever spoken to. Far from it. In fact, as the night went on, she found herself enjoying just talking to him in their own corner. The time just seemed to melt away, and when they noticed others leaving, she offered him to come with her to her inn room. She even found herself smiling when he sheepishly accepted. Avive knew she had to focus on the task at hand, and that she couldn't let her emotions get in her way, but when they got to the room, it was different. Usually, most would get right to undressing her, tossing themselves onto the bed and beginning their night of passion, but rather.. The two just sat on the edge of the bed, just continuing their conversation from before. Eventually, they both laid back upon it as the conversation grew more personal, and they found themselves sharing stories of their youth, and growing up on their own. Their gazes never left each other's eyes and as the night went on, they would grow closer until they would fall asleep in each other's arms.

Before morning even came, rather, when they first fell asleep, Avive knew that she couldn't sell this man out, and even though it would put a target on her back, she would return her client's money and deny the offer. She would still take jobs, but after that day she was more incline to research her own clients first and then accept the job. And as for her new found friend, she would still return to Piltover to see him, to give him and his friend her company, to help them with their studies, and of course, to love him. It became rather common to spot the two together. Though she didn't have much knowledge of any sort of technology at first, she wanted to learn, and he was more than happy to teach her. In fact, it seemed that she was a natural at it too, with how fast she learned. Their whirlwind romance was beautiful, and changed much of Avive's life, but the good times didn't last forever. Many years later, despite their strong bonds, the couple would engage in an argument that would result in her beloved walking out of her life forever, leaving her only with memories. What the argument was about, Avive has never shared with another soul, and never intends to. She would never say it, but the loss still stings to this day...

And what her beloved never knew was that Avive had been expecting their child. Though she was alone and heartbroken, Avive swore to her child when she first had him that she would keep going, for his sake, and her own. Even if it was hard to see the light right now, that did not mean it wasn't there. It was rough, having to rebuild her life without her beloved, but with time, and a lot of persistence, Avive make her way in Zaun, using the very same thing she had adored learning from her former beloved to help sustain her new family, but she doing it her way. There was plenty of evil going around in Zaun already, so why not give back in some way? That way of course, being protection. People needed self-defense, and whether it was blade you preferred, or a firearm, Avive could make it for you. Not only that, but as her business grew, she went ahead and added a firing range as well, just so you could get in that practice. Now-a-days, plenty comes around her way, whether it's those looking for weapons, looking for repairs, or just to practice. Her now eight year old son takes pride in helping out around the place too, and loves learning from his mother. Though, sometimes her past catches up with her and someone will come her way looking for info... But generally, she sends them on their way. She's not willing to risk everything she's built just for some coin.
