ok gang new angel hare oc! this one's name is lazarus! not because he's the actual lazarus, he just named himself that after the actual lazarus because he feels he's been reborn. so let's get into that!
- lazarus, as polite and unassuming as he is, actually used to be a demon hare.
- when he was questioned by francis on, 'er, what's that like?' he responded with an immediate drop in mood, saying 'you're like a blood sniffing shark. you're hungry, and you're looking for opportunities to satiate your need to keep yourself at peace, even if it means hurting others. as soon as i learned i didn't have to do that to survive, i grew my wings.'
- he describes it pretty abstractly, so nobody knows if he had an actual physical form back then.
- lazarus' wings are pretty tiny because he's a new angel. his form is mature, but not his wings yet.
- lazarus and francis get along pretty well, but lazarus is pretty sour to him whenever he oversteps his boundaries by asking about his past life.
- he is probably a closeted fan of my little pony LOL (me too bestie)
- lazarus also goes by 'laz' or 'lazzy,' but he fears the latter sounds too much like gabby
- speaking of gabby, he's actually her apprentice! she was the first angel he saw after being reborn
- while he occasionally messes up like francis, a lot of his lessons center around not torturing yourself for your past.
- lazarus seems deeply troubled by his faded memories of his past life, so the few moments he gets alone with jonah, he usually lends an ear as someone who has been in a similar situation.
