Cinnamon was only a filly when she earned her cutie mark. It was a cold winter day, transitioning from autumn to winter actually, and she was playing around in the snow. Her blue scarf was the only company she had. She didn't mind too much, although anyone can get lonely. She continued walking through the snow, only to find a patch of brown within the white. Cinnamon trotted over to the outstanding color to find a cold and injured kitten. She was desperate to help, but also feared that the mother would come back for the kitten. So, she waited alongside the kitten, wrapping her scarf around to keep the kitten from freezing. Even when the cold was biting at her nose, the warmth of her heart enabled her to stay with the kitten, waiting for its mother. That is when Cinnamon's cutie mark appeared on her flank. This story doesn't end there, though. After awhile, Cinnamon took the kitten home with her, nursing it back to health. From then on, Cinnamon and her kitten lived together. And because the kitten helped earn Cinnamon's cutie mark, the kitten was named Destiny.
