It's an interesting concept! From the characters POV, it's like meeting them from another universe! If I were to use the character and create my own character off of it, would it make sense to add a link between the two characters?
Oh this is a very interesting question! It's like a character in different parallel universes. I'm not sure about the links though. After all, besides you, other people can use this character and I’m not sure that they would want to make such a connection. But purely as a story concept, I think you can do it. You just need to note that this does not oblige other users of the character to anything.
Oh, or did you mean a technical link? Like that one for character relationships but make it referencing that design? Sorry if I'm stupid, I'm new here and don't know much x)
