Hadal

Hadal is an impossibly old daiten, wandering the great depths of the Curator's oceanic world. While it was once a being with thoughts and feelings, it has lived so long and in such conditions that its memory and sense of identity have both faded. They have been replaced by the Curator's overwhelming will.

In heaven, Hadal was a stalwart guardian. In the Curator's oceans, it has become a warped version of what it used to be. Its will is the Curator's will: collect and hoard. It is spoken of in hushed whispers by the denizens of the ocean: it is a monster of the seas, an unfeeling husk, and it will pursue anybody who threatens the Curator to the ends of the earth. Maybe some spark remains of what it once was, but it is buried deep.
