  • Kinda (<- understatement) an attention whore. Very showy and dramatic a lot of the time.
  • A VERY a good liar.
  • When you actually get to know them, they are chill and have a pretty good sense of humor!
  • Yknow all the lying aside they actually have some pretty good morals ngl
  • They advocate for peace but alsoooo knows that that doesn’t just mean total pacifism. Do they prefer to talk their way out of things rather than fight? Yes. But they also have magic and a fucking GUN in case they can’t.
  • Actually pretty musically talented too! They have a good singing voice, and can play guitar.
  • A total charlatan. They have completely falsified a religion, pulling from multiple different sources and existing practices. They may spout prayers and give faith healings and such… but none of it is REAL.
  • Really into fashion. Like, when they're not wearing their religious attire, they dress SOOOO pretty.

Story Summary

Sinclair was always a bit of the village troublemaker on his island. They always had a tendency to crave attention and lie their way outta trouble. That reputation stuck in that small village…

Til it was struck with disaster. The townsfolk had never been able to trace back where the sudden influx of disease came from - possibly some invasive species that managed to weasel its way into the people’s usual fishing routes that brought the ailment along with it. Either way, the sheltered island was unprepared to deal with its full force. It killed an enough of the population to be notable… including Sinclair’s own parents.

Seeing the dwindling hope of recouping from the losses, and trying to find some of their own… Sinclair appeared to suddenly have a good streak. They preached a religion and god that, while the village folk had never heard of, they ended up latching onto. Its promises of unity, prosperity, and healing in such a tough time was just what they needed to boost the overall morale.

False or not, it did what Sinclair set out to do. It brought everyone together to push past the disaster.

… Only when the village began to really prosper again did they start to see the inconsistencies in Sinclair’s teachings and practices. Sinclair was a *fraud.*

With the village leader angered by their deception, especially considering their past reputation, Sinclair was exiled from the island.

In Sinclair’s eyes, the time they truly set out to do something in good intent, even if based on their lies, it bit them in the ass.

So, wherever they roamed next, they wouldn’t risk that again.
