DESCRIPTION
Physical description
— Aserus is a 8 foot tall, 70 foot long dragon with winged arms and a long golden tipped, whip like tail. He has curved horns and a lanky body and barrel chest. His feet a quiet large, meant to balance and grab onto large things. His wingspan is about 60 feet since each wing is as long as his body, minus his neck and head. While his wings are quite long, they are narrow, great for high speeds.Personality
— Aserus is stubborn and highly willful, having a sense of what to do and doing it regardless of orders, however he is not disobedient- rather doing what he's told but not listening if he knows of a better method for the same outcome.Alliance
— Aserus is allied with the Scarlet Legion, unlike most dragons he has refused ownership, but rather having a bond or alliance with the Legion which he can end at any moment, giving him his freedom over his own choices.
ABILITIES
Golden flames
— when breathing fire, Altoruses flames will leave behind a golden dust instead of ash, the flames are golden in colour, acting exactly like normal flames in every other aspect. These golden flames however require him to consume gold or other metallic materials to create.Golden Gaze
— when looking directly into the eyes of another, he can see their mind- what they are thinking, their fears and ambitions. He can see the very soul of the person and who they are. When using this Gaze he must remain still and lock eyes with the one he wishes to read.Human Shape
— Aserus is able to take the shape of a human, typically, he chooses to appear as a 5 foot 7 tan male with a slim yet muscular build, golden and black eyes as well as golden tipped hair. Several black and golden markings cover his body as well. In this human shape, he looses all his dravonic advantages, such as scales, golden flames, flight and even his golden Gaze.Draconic Scales
— being a dragon, Aserus has thick scales that are incredibly resistant to smaller weapons such as swords or arrows. These scales are quite durable as well, but do limit him as they are quite heavy and require maintenance, such as moisture and a weakness to cold. These scales also must shed to heal properly, deeper wounds may make shedding painful or difficult in certain locations.Dravonic resistance
— Aserus has a resistance for fire, heat and exhaustion, this allows him to withstand fire from attacking dragons as well as lasting longer in a fight. However, this resistance means that things that require harm to heal, become difficult. Such as sewing wounds shut or removing stuck objects, like arrows or javelin.
WEAKNESSES
Underbelly
— The underbelly of Aserus is still armored, however it isn't as tough as the scales across his back or neck, this means your average sword may be able to deal a decent amount of damage with enough force.Tail and Neck
— Despite his scales protect his tail and neck, his neck can still become injured from bludgeoning, as can his tail.Weight limit
— While Aserus is able to carry large amounts of weight, this does not mean he can so comfortably. He cannot walk if he is carrying something large with his feet, this also means he cannot land while holding something unless he doesn't mind handing ontop of it as well.Chest
— Bludgeoning against his chest can cause a delay in his fire/flame production. this means if one can hit him hard enough in the chest, he will not be able to roast marshmallows.Dietary Needs
— Thanks to being a dragon, Aserus is blessed with the constant hunger of a 100 men. He must eat a large quantity of food once a week in order to keep fit and well feed, typically this consists of about 6 cattle once a week, or a cow every day.Cold Blooded
— due to being reptilian/dravonic in nature, Altorus is cold blooded. His fire may keep him warm in chilly temperatures, he can still become cold over time and freeze- even if it's not that cold, if given enough time he can die of hypothermia.
