Carnelian

Carnelian is my gemsona, chosen for its color and similarity to my own name.

She's a gem scout that focuses on field research. Her job is to check out planets for colonization suitability, and do survey work that Red Eyes and Robonoids cannot.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

• Extremely round, average height for a gem (whatever height that is... like 4 feet? 4 and a half???)
• Yellowish orange
• Red hair in a spiky sort of curled bob
• Gem on back of left hand

PERSONALITY

• VERY CURIOUS
• Observant and scientifically-minded
• Avoids confrontation
• Shy around other gems unless in her element

TRIVIA/DESIGN NOTES

• This is Carnelian's third incarnation!
  • Version 2.0: A lot taller, had a more complicated outfit, and a different hairstyle. Gem on back of right hand rather than left.
  • Version 1.0: Basically just me with a gem on my left wrist; this was the way gemsonas were commonly designed back when SU was first airing, and the only thing we knew about gems was that there were four canon ones (Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and of course, Steven) and that they had gems somewhere on them that dispensed a Signature Weapon. Oh, and my first design had a rapier instead of the lens gun. I still like that rapier, though, so I want to be able to recycle it in the future.
