Oh here, it's nothing just a new flavor I wanted to make...
Ash has been a part of the Tides of the Moon for as long as they can remember. The Spectral Hearth was rejected by its owner many years ago after their passing- this left their body cold and their heart broken. They were in the worst moment of their afterlife after the rejection, and had nowhere else to go. After some time, the Tides of the Moon was formed and the settlement was established, so they decided they would move in for a little while, if only to find some place to be away from their heartache.
After some time, they began to open up more and more, but they were still lonely, unfulfilled. It took some coaxing by the head chef at the kitchen, but they ended up being convinced to volunteer at the settlement's eatery and help out around to get food to those that lived there. It sparked a new form of joy that Ash had never thought they'd be able to experience again, and though they still remain quite sad and in their head most of the time, they find a sense of fulfillment in the volunteer work they have now.
