Violet is who Charlette was before her death. She was the Sans of her AU, there's not super big differences with regular Undertale canon. The only major difference is her Soul. It has the perserverance trait due to experiements done on her by her dad, Gaster. She had repressed the memories afterwards, and once he fell into the core her memory was erased of his existance. When Charlette encounters the Gaster of R:AT, she feels very wary of him at first
