Percy

Persecution “Percy” Vadal has a big set of shoes to fill. Her father was a world-renowned adventurer and ranger, and she looks up to him more than anything. Much to her dismay, she did not inherit his skill with the bow. In order to fake it, Percy threw herself into secretly studying magic; the kind of magic that she could use to disguise her spells as arrow shots. She hid her studies, not wanting to be associated with ‘nerd shit’ and wanting people to believe she was exactly as skilled as her father.

Percy is very concerned with how the world perceives her. In her mind, she needs to be seen as mature, confident, charming and daring. She wants to be the perfect adventurer, and all the cleverness lying beneath the surface doesn’t fit what she wants her image to be. In reality, she is an absolute nerd about magic. Not valuing that has caused some internal conflict about the type of person she wants to be. 

On her very first adventure, things immediately went horribly wrong. Her party defeated their first strange monster, but its death rattle created an explosion that fully severed her left arm. They reattached it, but it is completely nonfunctional now. She’s currently unable to keep up the illusion of being able to shoot a bow, but she can still cast with her remaining arm.
