A kajtlemta smuggler and adventurer.
He resides within the distant sector known as the Ettinsdragon's Haunt, a descendant of those kajtlemta who were spirited away from the homeworld of Rushédak during the Deceiver Spirit's totalitarian reign by heroes among the tianhunren. His slight, rangy stature and dun coloration mark him as among the wasteland kajtlemta of old, although this is something he would not himself be aware of. Indeed, all he really knows is that the wolf-people are not from this region, and that any knowledge of his true origins has been obscured by legends that are too fantastic to take seriously.
If asked, he'd tell you his business is transportation, and indeed he is one of many intrepid star captains who make a living moving messages, people, and cargo containers between the Haunt's disparate, marvelous worlds. But his activities go far beyond what most of those worlds' rulers would consider legitimate. He prides himself in being able to procure hard-to-find items for buyers who have few options but deep pockets—items whose very presence (or absence) are liable to make certain people very angry. He has smuggled advanced First-Awoken starship weapons technology into the Haunt, and a sacred bone shard from the Ettinsdragon out of the Haunt on behalf of a wealthy ratfolk collector of rarities. (He only tried the latter once; it resulted in him being tracked down and thrashed to within an inch of his life by the relic's vengeful guardian warrior, and his Third Form still walks with a slight limp.)
Although he does possess the sharp fangs and blunt claws that all kajtlemta have, he is a poor brawler and a coward in a fight (although surprisingly vicious when cornered). Atypically for his people, he prefers to talk his way out of conflict, wielding eloquent verbiage and lofty promises to great effect. He can be persuasive and even romantic, although only those who know him best can ever tell whether his affection is completely genuine or being deployed with ulterior motives. Like all kajtlemta he has a hard time intentionally deceiving others; although he has practiced suppressing his body language to make his words more convincing, lying is still quite emotionally taxing and he prefers to be at least mostly truthful when possible.
While lacking bravery in direct confrontation, he can be quite fearless when at the helm of his ship or working towards completing a difficult mission, especially when he feels that he has something to prove. He is a skillful pilot, a decent shot with the squall-rifle or hare-rifle, and has notably never left a friend or client behind to save his own hide. Many in the Haunt know this, and although they might detest his lack of respect for their cultural norms they'll still retain his services if they need something truly dangerous done.
