Leon Rochester (FFXIV)

Leon likes to call himself an etherologist but his job these day is more along the lines of something like "warrior of light's right-hand man".

He spent some long years alone, working on his research on ether and travelling all around Eorzea, until he decided to settle in la Noscea. Full of ressources and ego, he managed to get sponsored by Limsa Lominsa to keep working on his research while sharing it with them from time to time. People say he have a suspicious relationship with the Admiral. Life was pretty good in la Noscea and, for someone who thoughs of himself as a loner, Leon began to make several good friends. It's also at this time that he got in contact with the Scions of the seventh dawn and got somehow involved in the organisation. it was mostly for personal gain of course but he did like them pretty well, getting especially close with Y'shtola. With how well his life was going, Leon felt like he was finally understanding the need for a feeling of belonging. He no longer wanted to live alone and he was ready to make efforts to keep people he liked around him.

That's when Enrich Krossman came back into his life.

Their past together is mysterious, Leon talks sometimes about how he should have been here for Enrich but didn't care enought or maybe he was too much of a coward. Enrich has changed greatly since he last saw him. Angrier, disturbed and most importantly he had been chosen by Hydaelin. Leon heard people were calling him a warrior of light but all he saw was a very unwell young person. He felt he has failed Enrich once and was now determined to redeem himself. He left everything behind and now his own mission is to assist the warrior of light against all odds.

Enrich, who was now called Maurine in her quest to better understand herself, and Leon are now travelling together.
