Cringe Jonah makes a MGSV fankid oc, more at 11

-She/Her; also known as Mari for short. Can be depicted with either blue or green eyes

-Fankid of Venom Snake and Quiet. She is a clone of her mother, born as a 'chrysalis' of the vocal cord parasites after Quiet's death. Thus, Mariposa never met her. She inherited somewhat weaker versions of the assassin's superhuman abilities, the tradeoff being that she does not have to fear triggering the vocal cord infection. Her lungs and skin also work as a 'regular' human's would.

-She was raised on Mother Base as an infant/toddler, but was eventually moved to America and cared for by a team of the most loyal and trusted members of Diamond Dogs. Mari was close with her father as a kid, and his eventual death traumatized her eleven year old self

-Due to her heritage, she is closely protected and her true identity kept a well guarded secret. This is true in the present day as well. Mariposa is reclusive and understandably paranoid, a trait passed down from her caretakers, and fears being watched or tracked

-Has severe identity issues and struggles to see herself as an individual being, rather than simply an extension of her parents (particularly Quiet). It doesn't help that she often listens to her father's voice on his recordings as a futile method of reconnecting with him, and sees only her mother's visage in the mirror. Mariposa is convinced that nobody has ever cared for her personally, a thought that leaves her in a depressive state

-Laconic and often deadpan. Mari is the type to get to the point every time, and is rather efficient with everything she does. Stopping to smell the roses is not a habit of hers. Her humor is exceedingly dry snark, and she has a tendency to be rather blunt, for better or worse

-Has complicated feelings about her upbringing and life. She knows her parents and caretakers weren't good people, that they did terrible things regardless of whatever good intentions that they held, but Mariposa still loves them. It eats at her constantly, the guilt and indecision. Is she evil to care about them? Would it have been better had the parasites simply died instead of bringing her into existence? Some part of Mari feels distinct remorse for having ever been born, and she willingly bears the sins of her family upon her own shoulders
