I love this little guy so much! I really love liminal spaces, especially ones that have water incorporated into them because they give me such an uneasy feeling. I would love to own them, but if that doesn't happen I'd be happy to draw some art of them because their design/concept is so cool! I would name them Wet Floor or somethin similar (I'm not the greatest at names lmao). I also like giving my characters lore and I would have them haunt an abandoned waterpark and when people trespass they meet an undesirable fate.
Hi there! If they’re still available here is my entry thingie x) I would add them to a wip world I’m working on, it’s a little garden and everyone just does gardening and cares for one another, it’s a simple place^^ so far I have a few characters and I feel like this little one could fit in it :>
I’m not sure of a name for them at this point but I’ll just call them Puddle for now.
Puddle would live in a small pond located right next to Ebbie (IC)’s home! Puddle arrived one day at the garden and decided to live there as they found it peaceful and much better than where they were originally from. Puddle doesn’t really know how they ended up there but they don’t mind one bit. When asked where they originated from, Puddle just responds with how dark and cramped it was and nothing more.
Ebbie would be their best friend and both work and get along wonderfully! Ebbie has a lovely garden in their home and Puddle would help with watering and making sure the plants don’t drown (in case of rain or accident overwatering). Puddle can draw water close to them and dry the areas needed easily. When intaking more water, Puddle grows in size but often channels it to their tail just so they fit in their pond!
Puddle would be quiet but curious, they are very soft spoken and have an echoey sound to their voice (like the sound of sea shell). They get along with everyone and is always willing to help. Puddle can come off as a bit scary in the dark, especially if swimming around in large body of water and they definitely have scared a few folks!
The dark part of their face and tail are like sticky tar. It doesn’t affect the water but does absorb light, causing it to become darker. Puddle’s arm and tail always have the same consistency and stand out in the water they’re in.

oh my gosh, they’re so cute!! for some reason I really connect with this character, and tbh I don’t think they link with my main OC atm (TBN🕯️) so I would love to give them their own world, I feel like the concept is really promising and that I could design lots of characters relating to this species. I’ve never made a world before in toyhouse since I haven’t been inspired by any of my current OCs enough to make more characters similar to them, and this little guy is just adorable so I would be happy to offer one of my OCs if there are any you’re interested in? (ofc for some I might have to decline)
it would be so fun to make lore for them, something I’m working on with TBN🕯️ but that I haven’t actually done before. I’m thinking that maybe since they would have their own species, the pool part of them is normal but the darker side was the result of some kind of accident? for example, maybe somebody injected them with too much chlorine and part of them turned acidic? idk lol

Oh oh! I’ve liked this guy for so long! My friend got me interested in backrooms / poolrooms and I’ve always just found liminal space to be fascinating so! I would probably co-own with them since they loooooove poolrooms OCs! And cats ☺️

Possibly they both died in the poolrooms, and the cat’s soul was the one that got stuck there? So now it’s become the embodiment of the poolrooms!
My bestie would definitely make some wicked lore for them too 💙 I know they would love this creature a lot, as much as I do!
Oh and I forgot to mention I’ve actually been trying to design my own version of the poolrooms so maybe they could be partners in crime instead 🤷🏻♀️

I would love to claim this guy!! He would be used as a ghost in my ghost hunting story Soul Searchers and would be one of the major antagonists of the story! He would probably end up being a child who drowned in the pool and whose spirit wanders an abandoned community pool that the main cast explores!
I'd love to adopt this lil dude to co own with my wife and I! As we both love the Backrooms and liminal spaces! I think this lil dude would be absolutely perfect for both me and her cause we both love to doodle silly little drawings of our characters!! they're soso cute!! i haven't had the fortune of adopting a water/poolrooms design to my oc arsenal & i'd love to write one as a sentient sort of building, if that makes sense? drawing people basically exploring within/climbing on it as if it were a large series of rooms (meaning it would be huge in comparison, lol)
